At Good News Homes, families are welcomed into the program ad are encouraged by our case managers to immediately begin planning, dreaming and working hard to get to the goal of permanent housing.

While a resident of Good News Homes, families receive the support they need to get back on their feet through intensive case management as residents work together with their case manager to take steps toward permanent housing.

Eligibility for God News Homes programs is based on need as established by Kentucky Housing, income level, and other factors.


Referral Service
Good News Homes provides additional housing assistance through referral to local landlords and through other Kentucky Housing Corporation programs such as Section 8.  Good News Homes also works with a large number of local agencies to help families obtain food, clothing, emergency financial assistance, and other necessities.


Housing Provided
Good News Homes currently has four apartments in Oldham County near downtown LaGrange on land donated by LaGrange attorney Harold Smith.  An identical four-unit complex is located in Trimble County near Bedford.  Rosehaven, a group home for women and children, provides additional assistance for four single women or single mothers with young children.
